Bow Tie Designs Inspired by Your Requests
One of my favourite things about making bow ties is seeing the ideas customers come to me with. Sometimes it’s a small change to an existing design, and other times it sends me down a completely new design rabbit hole!
A few of those requests have recently turned into new designs for the shop, so I thought I’d share a few of my favourites and the stories behind them.
A Rather Quirky Request
A few weeks ago, a customer got in touch looking for a chicken-themed bow tie for a christening. Of course, that sent me down a bit of a chicken-design rabbit hole, and these wonderfully quirky new bow ties were born!

A New Wonderland Favourite
You may have already spotted quite a few Wonderland-inspired designs in my shop, featuring the beautiful original illustrations created by John Tenniel.
Recently, I was asked if I could create a bow tie using the classic illustration of Alice looking up at the Cheshire Cat. I absolutely love how this one turned out!

A Lighter Take on an Old Favourite
Most recently, a customer asked if my navy world map bow tie could be adapted into a softer cream and white colour palette.
A little recolouring later, and here’s the result…

I love seeing how a simple customer request can turn into something completely new, whether it’s an unusual theme, a different colour palette or a new take on one of my existing designs.
If you’ve got an idea for a bow tie you can’t quite find in the shop, feel free to get in touch. I can’t promise every idea will be possible, but I’m always happy to see what I can come up with!
